Becoming the creator of this company took several years of learning and growing, and I’m excited to now be able to share my knowledge and expertise with other small businesses looking to share their stories, too!

A wife and mother to a young son, I tried my hand at returning to the 8-5 corporate grind postpartum, but found that I needed (and wanted) more flexibility and balance in my life. I stepped away to care for my son full-time and eventually was able to begin building the framework for Story Loft.

I’ve been on a multi-year journey with my husband through his medical training that has taken us across the world and across the country in the past decade. At this point, I think adaptability is my middle name; it’s necessary to keep growing, digging in, and learning how to adjust when it takes a long time to grow strong roots.

Marketing can be the same way. Through trend shifts, new technology, and changes in the way we work, staying tethered to what your customers need while remaining true to your identity as a brand can be challenging. I thrive when I’m challenged to creatively connect the dots between the stories we have to tell and what we have to offer the world. To capture an audience and learn from them to spin real results that benefit everyone.
